Eh

Been a while since I blogged. It was Androlite's idea that I create this blog, but with as much as I update my LiveJournal (hardly EVER!) she should know that I wouldn't be good at keeping this active. Oops. *sends you all hugs and cookies*

Life is difficult right now. I'm the only one working in my house so bills and money are tight. I've got all these awesome scenes and ideas in my head, but by the time I get home I'm too tired to write. *sighs* Sorry, again! </3

Androlite and I (with her fiance) have started working on a new paranormal romance. We have no idea what we're gonna call it, but she's already working on a website for it. Also, her novella Death by Nymph was sent off and I hope that it gets accepted. *crosses fingers for her*

As for my world, Everlnd is going as slow as ever. All of the key elements are in place, but I feel like I'm missing something. Hopefully I'll figure it out. I want everyone to meet my creations. ^^

The relationship I'm in also is putting a damper on my mood. *big sigh* I'm praying to the Goddess it all works out okay.

I'll try to update here within a couple of days. Going to try to do some research and/or write before bedtime.

Love to all!

I'm being buried alive...

...by the stress in my life.

My sister ran away with my niece after she stole my mother's income tax money which was suppose to be used to catch up the bills in my house. Wow. Really? Molli, you are such a bitch. I want my Ava home.

I miss Ava so much. I woke up this morning expecting to hear her laughing, crying, and growling at something, but my soul shattered when I didn't. *le sigh*

But on the positive side, Androlite Writes, the man that butters her bread, and I have created a new world that is going to rock in the Paranormal Romance department.

Oh yeah. Who's your momma? Go on. Say it. Say it!! No...really, say it.

Winter: Maybe they don't wanna.
Me: Hush! You're my brain and muse. Get to work. *breaks out the whip*
Winter: *stares at it* I will give you a migraine.
Me: Oh, you...bitch...

Another day, another dollar

Work went as work usually goes (slow and boring) until after about 1830 and then we got slammed. I love delivering pizzas, but, damn, I wish I was in a bigger city.

Writing is going as about the same as work: stagnant. I feel that I'm in some sort of a funk. I have wonderful ideas, but I hate everything that I write (do we all feel that way?) and I'm truly not satisfied.

Back in the day when I was writing fanfiction, it was nothing for me to sit down and write. Now, I can't do it. I LOOOOVE writing. It's my passion, my get away. It's just like with magic and Paganism. They are my passions, my life.

Maybe that's why I feel so out of place these days. I need to find something to get me back in my old groove. Stress is part of it, for sure. My living situation with my mother, sister, niece (my writtle bittle), and dad is getting crazy.

Most of my creative juices spark when I'm at daddy's house (my adoptive father), but I can't write over there. When I get home with all of these outrageous, insanely delicious muses, they go away. *sigh*

I suppose I'm going to name my mind "Winter Yuy" since she is me and I am here. We've been together for a very long time...

Winter: But you've put me through so much torture that I need to rest!
Me: The world needs us though, Winter!! We have to prevail!
Winter: *sees a shiny and goes towards it*

...*sigh* See what I mean?

Also thinking about making a blogger for my "Everlnd" series and my untitled series I will call "The Balance" for right now.

"Everlnd", Book 2, Amilyanna and Legato

“Why do you harbor such dislike for me, Legato?”

The half breed didn't look at her, but continued sharpening the blade, “That's a stupid question, princess, and one which I would rather not discuss.”

Ana watched him work intently on the weapon. She knew he was trying to ignore her, but this wasn't the time for that. The way he said “princess” caused a pain in her heart. Was he so caught up in the past he wouldn't even say her name anymore? Did he hate her that much? Now that they were alone she had every intention to talk to him and settle their differences.

“That's too bad.”

Legato inhaled and exhaled slowly. Her mere presence was distracting. He could smell her in the air, could visualize her beautiful eyes watching his every move. His fingers twitched with longing to run his hands through her silky hair. Memories scratched at his mind with the longing to be released. Yes, she was distracting and it had to stop. She had to leave before he done something he regretted. He returned focus on the blade.

“I just want to know why.”

Concentrate. He tried to block out the image of her pink lips moving with grace as she spoke and that soft soprano voice filling the air. He use to enjoy kissing those lips and hearing her say his name, but that had been long ago during his youth when he thought that fairy tales were true. Those days had passed and his feelings were thrown into the wind. So, why did he suddenly want to push all his tools off the table and kiss those lips until they were bruised or make her scream until her voice was hoarse?

“What did I do, Legato?”

“You know what you did.”

Ana stepped towards him, “If I remember correctly you were the one who left. I didn't want you to leave.”

“I don't want to talk about this, princess. And, Goddess help me, if you don't leave...”

“You'll what? Leave like you did all those years ago?”

The blond shot up causing the chair to topple over. He grabbed Ana by her upper arms, shaking her furiously. His eyes suddenly became brighter and white, sharp fangs extended. His usual calm emotions were always tangled up around her.

“You left me, Ana, not the other way around. I'm a half breed. When you're father found out he was going to have me executed! Not only for being a half bred Mystic, but for sleeping with his daughter. I did what I had to do.”

“Father wasn't going to execute you.”

“Not according to Rune and Aku. At least they were true friends and told me before I was taken out of my home. I was foolish to think that you cared for me let alone loved me at the time.”

Ana's eyes softened at his harsh words. She had spent over the first half of her life with Legato, Rune, and Aku. They had been like brothers to her, but Legato had been different. She had begun to feel differently for him around her the time of her change. She had fallen in love with him after he had kissed her under the white blossom trees in the garden of her former home.

“I did love you. I still do.”

Legato pushed her away violently. He watched her hit the wall, ash white hair spilling over her shoulders. Unreleased tears trapped in her amethyst oculars. His hands were still warm from gripping her bare skin, the same skin he use to caress and kiss with tender love and care. During his absence, what had he become? During his youth he would have never accused her of such distrust or treated her so roughly.

Times had changed and so had he. He wasn't the same love struck boy he use to be.

Ana was hunched against the wall looking at him with those same eyes that he use to look into for comfort and care. She had always known he was different, but that had never stopped her from associating with him. Because of her, he had met his only two friends. Because of her, he had learned what love was. Because of her, he had his heart broken. He wanted to hate her, loathe her. He had harbored his feelings for over two hundred years; yet, here and now, he couldn't bring himself to tell her he hated her.

He was there in three strides with her face in the palms of his hands. His thumbs moved under her eyes to wipe away the tears spilling from those beautiful hazy eyes. All those years of loneliness and bitterness towards her faded and left him with the innate longing to comfort her. Over two hundred years of being apart from her all came crashing down in one big heap of desire.

He kissed her then with her face in between his hands. Her eyes widened in awe before they slowly closed. Her arms wound around his neck as he pressed their bodies together. It had seemed like eons, not centuries, since they had been this close. His lips massaged her thoroughly and he ran his deft fingers through his silky white hair. Even something as infinitesimal as that caused his body to heat. The alien feeling of such desire caused them to break apart.

Her lips were swollen from his hard kiss, her chest heaving from lack of hair. Her breasts seemed to be spilling out of her top. Her hands were clutching onto the material of his shirt.

“Legato, I--”

He silenced her with another hard kiss, pushing her body into the wall.

No more words were exchanged after that.

::::...::::

Rune sat on the porch of Legato's “shanty” as the smoke from his pipe swirled around him. He watched the sun setting in the distance, the waters of the swamp reflecting the hues of red and yellow. His baby blue eyes never moved, but were focused on a lily pad closing it's petals for slumber. He absently wondered what it would be like to have a life as simple as waking up and going to sleep.

“He's stupid.”

Rune suppressed his laughter and continued to smoke, “Maybe not.”

The Grimvoire looked at his friend, “I thought he hated her.”

Legato was stupid, Rune concluded, if he thought he could get away with sleeping with Ana and no one knowing. His hearing was more adapt than most Elv. Even if the two were in the work study he could still pick up the faint sounds of their lovemaking. And Aku, Iteria bless him, could probably smell it.

“Maybe he never hated her. He was using his broken heart as an anchor to stay away from her so he wouldn't have to face the fact that he does care for her.”

Aku snorted, “Love is pointless.”

“I never said he loved her, boss,” he tapped his piped against the side of the porch to rid the pieces of tobacco. “He may be looking for a good time.”

“Whatever.”

The Rouge Elv stood to stretch his muscles. He stood beside his friend until it was completely dark outside and the nocturnal creatures came alive. The light bugs fluttered about the area. In the pond, Jimmy was laying belly up. Damn crocodile.

“Tomorrow's gonna be a big day. Hopefully Esgo hasn't gotten himself killed in that prison. You know he loves to run his mouth.”

Aku smirked, “Always got him in trouble. Maybe he'll learn his lesson.”

“Probably not,” Rune patted his partner on the shoulder and headed inside.

“And where are you going?”

“Legato isn't the only one that can have fun, boss. Iteria is telling me that tonight is a good night, so I'm gonna go try talk to Emerial into having a little bit of fun.”

Aku watched Rune throw up a hand in goodbye. He disappeared into the house and the Grimvoire shook his head. Poor, poor Elv.

“Idiot.”
